Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
When a name or date of birth is entered into a search box on this site, the information goes to the outside company that operates that tool. That provider processes the request and returns its results. Wasatch County Warrant Records does not store or log the search terms on our own system.
Messages and Contact Submissions
If you email the site operator, the message is kept so it can be answered. It is not shared outside the organization unless a law or valid legal process requires disclosure. Do not send a full birth date, case details, or other sensitive data unless it is needed and the recipient is verified.
Data We Gather Automatically
When a page loads, our servers may receive technical details about the visit, such as:
- Device IP address.
- Browser name and version.
- Device type and operating system.
- Pages opened and time spent on them.
- The referring site, when one is sent.
- Date and time of each page view.
Cookies and Analytics
This site uses cookies, small files saved by a browser, and analytics services to understand general traffic and site performance. Browser settings can block cookies. Some site features may work differently if they are disabled.
What We Do With This Data
- Keep pages available and improve loading speed.
- Send a search request to the provider that runs the selected tool.
- See which pages are useful and where changes may help.
- Find and repair technical problems.
- Display advertising that may reflect visitor interests.
These uses do not create an official warrant record or a consumer report about another person.
No Warrant Data on File
Wasatch County Warrant Records does not host, maintain, compile, or sell a database of warrants or personal warrant information. The site provides general directions to the Utah Statewide Warrants file, the courts that issue orders, and the Wasatch County Sheriff's Office. Information entered into a government portal or a partner search tool is handled under that provider's own terms.
We are not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Visitor data is not assembled into consumer reports or a database of warrant records about third parties.
Third-Party Search Partners
Search boxes may be run by an outside provider. Information entered there is governed by that provider's privacy policy, not this one. The partner sets its own data retention and sharing practices. Review its policy before submitting a search, and use official Utah sources when you need a court or warrant record.
Links to Other Websites
This site links to law-enforcement pages, court systems, statewide warrant resources, legal aid, and outside search providers. A link takes you to a separate service. Its privacy policy and data practices apply there, so check them before sharing personal information.
Advertising partners may use their own systems to track activity across sites for ad selection. That tracking is governed by their practices.
Who Might See Your Data
We do not sell personal data. Some information may be handled by:
- The search partner receiving a query.
- Analytics providers measuring traffic and performance.
- Advertising networks that place ads.
- A government or law-enforcement body when a valid legal order requires it.
How We Protect Your Data
We use standard safeguards for information held by the site. No internet service can promise perfect security, and a breach can never be ruled out. Avoid sending sensitive case details through an unverified channel.
Users Under 18
This service is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from someone under 18. If a minor has sent information to the site operator, it will be removed after the operator receives a request to do so.
Your Data Rights
Rights over information depend on the law that applies to a person and the service holding the data. Utah's Government Records Access and Management Act, Title 63G Chapter 2, governs access to many government records; it does not make this private site a government records office. Where applicable law provides a right, a person may be able to:
- Ask for a copy of information held about them.
- Seek correction of inaccurate information.
- Request deletion.
- Opt out of certain data processing.
Updates to This Policy
We may revise these terms as site practices change. A new version will appear here with its effective date. Review the posted text when you want to know how information is handled.
